❋My Book:
A Healer’s Guide to Living With Chronic Illness
A Healer’s Guide to Living With Chronic Illness
I didn't write this book because I have a cure-all approach. I don't.
I wrote it because I know what it is like to live with chronic illness and to spend years trying to understand a body that can change the rules without warning.
I've experienced the appointments, the testing, the treatments, the setbacks, the pain and fatigue, and the frustration of knowing that something isn't right while struggling to find answers.
Along the way, I have learned something incredibly important: you have to find your voice.
You are the person living in your body every single day. It's okay to ask questions. It's okay to say when something doesn't feel right. It's okay to ask for another opinion, to keep searching for answers, and to be an active participant when working with your healthcare practitioners.
This book isn't a roadmap promising to take everyone to the same destination. Chronic illness simply doesn't work that way.
Instead, I'm sharing pieces of what I have learned through my own journey: managing pain and fatigue, navigating flares, coping with the emotional impact of chronic illness, advocating for yourself, and finding ways to create some stability when your body feels anything but predictable.
Maybe something I've experienced will sound familiar.
Maybe one idea will lead you to a question you haven't thought to ask.
Maybe something in these pages will give you direction toward your next step.
And sometimes, that next step is exactly what we need.
